To begin with, I would like to welcome all our students back to school for face-to-face learning from the 1st of November 2021.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Kim family and friends who are the founders and donors of GVA. Without your love and sacrifices, there would be no GVA.
To the teachers, you are the heroes of your students. The 2020-2021 school year was very challenging because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The school was closed for almost the entire school year and online learning took place. I’m so proud of your perseverance, patience and love for the students. Because of this, the students received good quality education and finished the school year with high grades.
Parents, thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation with the school and for helping your children at home.
Students, I’m so proud of you for your perseverance, determination and your obedience to your teachers. We understand that it is very stressful to learn online but you kept your learning spirit high.
Having mentioned all of this, it is good to reflect and remember that we have come out of the 2020-2021 school year strong, in order to help us to stay strong, united, and to support each other as we step into the 2021-2022 school year.
I’m personally grateful and proud that I am a part of this amazing school and serving the school as a director.
